Introducing the Outdoor Lifestyle Collection from New River Furniture. It is handcrafted of solid Jatoba (also know as Brazilian Cherry) and design for use directly outdoors. Jatoba has been used in decking, playground equipment, railroad crossties, marine and other outdoor applications for many years due to its density and superior weather resistant qualities. Jatoba has only recently become more popular for outdoor furniture use as its hardness makes it difficult to machine without the sophisticated equipment and advanced manufacturing techniques used by New River Furniture.

This Outdoor Rocker by New River Furniture Company... is the perfect antidote to today's fast-paced lifestyles. This Rocker is made of solid Brazilian Cherry Wood for use directly outdoors.
All of the wood used by New River Furniture Company is kiln-dried at our kilns located adjacent to our factory. We carefully hand-sand and hand-finish all of our indoor products providing for an exquisitely luxurious feel to the touch.
Our Brazilian Cherry used in our outdoor collection is 235 % stronger than teak. Because of the incredible strength and durability of this wood, all of our Brazilian Cherry products can be used directly outdoors and are warranted against defects in materials and craftsmanship. Brazilian Cherry has weathering characteristics similar to teak while maintaining outstanding structural integrity. Contact our customer service department for more information.
Hardware used By New River Furniture Company for all of our outdoor products is manufactured specifically for outdoor use and resists rust and corrosion.
We use mortise & tenon construction and glue that is not water-soluble. We cut our slats to shape as opposed to bending to shape. The results achieved by using these materials and construction techniques are evident. We offer you, quite simply, the best value in wooden furniture, period.
